The sun brings ember fires to my throat.
I can hold my ground like earth.
Crumbling to the concept of motion.
I’m stuck in Heaven’s light.
Struggling to disbelieve,
Keep my soul independent.
Telling heaven I do not believe,
Believe in you or your hellish ways.
I hold the moon in my stare,
The stare changing.
Phases in my heart,
Fazing my being.
I look away only to come back.
You won’t find me dying in a person's name.
My world.
My life.
What else is there for human flesh?
Across the stars past reality,
Is where my interest sleep.
Can I breathe?
Can I live?
Without one's consent
Words of complaint,
Insane spills of opinions.
So what’s your excuse?
I say this is just day one,
To truth,
Where the stars come crashing,
Bringing back the light from the dark.
Our worries dead,
Along with our bodies.
Pray loud as the stars try to reach,
The lies you force yourself to believe.
So keep your eyes on me as your world dies.
Take another pill for the mental trip your in for.
Savor life.
Welcome to the new world,
But I’ve no clue where it’s at.
Don’t lose faith in me with the world as it is,
Shrugging at the thought of me.
Keep my face near yours.
You’re the only faith I have left.
