(though as far as i know, no one was killed here on this island, not sure about the others)
long story short, i spent most of my day on a mountain for nothing 3nodding
(long story below)
ok, so late into the night/early morning, we get the hearing of a tsunami coming on its way here
there was an 8.8 magnitude earthquake in Chile, which generated waves that were heading this way
so my mom and her friend are acting all paranoid, and me and my brother them are pretty calm
mom kept bugging me about keeping track of the news feed rolleyes
at around 2-3am, we packed some of our crap to take with us to somewhere safe
i tried not to pack too much xD only hand on bag, but i wanted to bring more
of course, i packed up my labtop, no way i'ma let my $600 labtop drown in some sea water
took some valuables, and some manga xD
my mom and her friend/little brothers went off to a friends place, while me, my brother, and his friend, stayed behind, and spent the morning on the mountain
first we just took ourselves and the clothes on our backs (older brother took his blanket)
i found out again just how out of shape i was, so i must arrange to do more walks xD
well after a small hike up the mountain to the little bunker made back from war
it was still early in the morning, and a little cool, but it was nice, after a while...
we got cold, and my older brother was the only one who had a blanket, his friend had a jacket, i had crap xD
my and our friend were bugging at each other to go back to the house and grab blankets
and of course, i'm the one who ends up going, can't see all too well, hair kept getting in the way
and there was only moon light for me to see where i was going xD
good thing it was full :3 it was pretty too, got to watch the moon set
times like that i wish i had a good digital camera
well anyway, went back to the house, grabbed 3 blankets, and 2 pillows
and hiked my fat a** back up to the bunker :B
by the time i got there, i was dying from being out of breath xD and sweating my a** off
we set up a blanket on the bunker, and we all laid down and eventually passed out
we kept waking up when the sirens went off, but went back to sleep after
other than the sirens, it was pretty nice up there, but you got to be careful not to roll off xD
otherwise its bye bye =w=;; and good night for good xD
we only decided to go back home at around 9am cause the sun came up and was starting to bake us on the bunker xD
so we packed our s**t, and came back home, stayed here for a bit, since it was still early before the tsunami was coming, it was suppose to come around 11-12
we stayed til like around 10:30, then we hiked back up again
mom came by and met us up the mountain, even though she's afraid of heights, she still came along xD
by then, there were other people sitting at the bunker, so we decided to move more up the mountain
where we sat down had a little shade coming from a rock, so it was nice
though mom was freaking out on the garden spider that was sitting right in front of us xD
it had a nest too, and i was teasing mom on how it was gona crack open
and all the baby spiders were gona pop out and get her rofl
after hours of staying up there, we finally came down, only to find out that the tsunami didn't do much more than cause a few high and low tides
after walking a mile or 2 to my mom's friends house to help get our s**t back
we came back home, and here i sit =w=

there was an accident today, and mom was a witness
there was this dude on a dirt bike, speeding up the street, and there was this kid
who was riding his bike to his grandma's house
they guy bags the little boy, and they both get ******** up
mom said the guy had a broken arm, dislocated arm
and the little boy was banged to the side, and was by a truck's tire
she didn't know if there was too much wrong with him, but he had a bloody face
she also said that the guy who banged the kid, was a kid from a friend of his...
so thats messed up xp
