Wings Turned White
My white wings
have been stained
black.
Stained with the
blood I couldn't
keep back.
My halo's been
shattered to millions
of splinters.
I've been called a
fool, a liar, and a
sinner.
Ever since then
my body and heart
have gone numb.
I've become
depressed and overall
glum.
But then from
nowhere, I saw
your sweet face.
My heart started
to beat at an
exceeding pace.
Your wings were as
pure and white as
snow.
Yet it was me and stained
wings that didn't
know.
And then that clear
day when our
eyes met.
We watched
eachother till
the sun set.
You picked up
my heart and
made it light.
My white wings
came back for
a wonderful flight.
Ever since that day
you held me
in your arms,
My wings changed
to white and I turned
away from the dark.
My white wings
have been stained
black.
Stained with the
blood I couldn't
keep back.
My halo's been
shattered to millions
of splinters.
I've been called a
