I'm not big on opening ceremonies, but i have to admit the landscapes of light were actually moving. Of course, it was the beauty of the Pacific Northwest that lured me out here, the beauty of it's landscapes. I don't really care which side of the border it is. Also, I'm a sucker for fiddle music and that image of the shadow on the moon was stunning. facepalm
