*laughs* I've been fantasizing about that lately. I'd go for a "world is shot to hell" scenario, where Minato lost everything and clings in a semi-disturbing way to Obito's cheerfulness to keep himself sane. Obito, on the other hand, because of his admiration for the man, can't bring himself to just abandon him, so he plays along, while pining for his distant love, Rin.
