* It was nice to see the secretary of defense et al. Standing up for an end to DADT, Too bad the Republicans aren't willing to listen. Shame on McCain for changing sides.
* Have I mentioned my mother no longer considers the Republicans "her party" thanks to the shenanigans of the last year or so. she was a moderate, see, and there's only so much crazycakes she will tolerate, and she's very pro-universal health care.'
