Wii Sports
Wii Sports. Many people say that it does nothing. That it's just a game. Granted Wii Fit is more centered for exercise, I still say that if you're up and moving about, Wii sports should do about the same. Now I have a generic system called Wireless Sports Plus. It's from Walgreens. It hooks up to the tv and has only 5 games that you can play. Bowling, Golf, Baseball, Tennis and Boxing. Now idk about the rest of you, but when I play a game, I get into it. So when I play these games, I'm really into them as if I'm actually playing the sport itself. So I get a pretty good workout with it. I'm not just standing there, waving the remote. I'm bending, swinging my arms, throwing actual punches, etc! Plus, I listen to music while I play and that gets me more pumped up becuase as I'm waiting for the computer to do something, I'm dancing to the music until I get to go again! I haven't seen results yet, but then again, I haven't had this game thing that long. I play for two hours at a time so as to not overdo it and I cycle through each game, playing the highest number of rounds for each game. I have fun and I don't get tired out or anything. And as always, I stretch and make sure I have water before I first start playing. And I allow myself a cool down period afterwards with some light stretching. I recommend a game like this or getting Wii Fit if you don't like to exercise, but you like playing video games. If you get into it like I do, you'll have tons of fun and won't even realize that it's like exercise!
