MEET ZAK BARTUL

Gender: Male
Looks/Wears: Zak has the golden blond locks of an angle, quite opposite of his personality. It's a little short in length, so usually he just brushes it back against his head and let's it go.
His eyes are two blue chunks of ice, carefully carved to hide emotion. He tries for a 'tough guy' look, prefering to wear baggy black clothes.
Personality: Zak is as cold as his eyes. His life was hard; his father was busy with gangs and never treated Zak like a son. It's no surprise to see that Zak has followed in his footsteps.
He's the typical i'm-to-cool-for-you- bad boy. On the rare occasion that he smiles, it's almost always to laugh at someone weaker then him. Zak likes to put things bluntly; he doesn't spare feelings.
However, his redeeming quality is that he really cares about his friends. He might not always show it, but there is a little warmth inside his rock heart. Connor and Jake are the closest things to a friend that he has, although he doesn't dislike Kyo.
Emi's overly loud and cheerful personality annoys him, though. Zak tries to stick up his nose at Gina's fangirl remarks, but secretly he returns her feelings. Everyone knows, in a way, but it takes a lot to get Zak to show any affection.
Despite what he tells himself, Zak yearns to get better at making friends and someday tell Gina the truth. So far, it seems pretty unlikely. Ironically, his last name means "Important Helper" in German.
