So I read this funny entry from someone on the IMDB Boards, and I laughed about it cuz she was right. Plus the movie is amazingly made and I love it. Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron

Most people write this movie off, but it's really wonderful.
I actually have a funny story about Spirit. A few years ago in high school Spanish class, we were having an ethnic food day where you bring a dish from your culture/ancestry/whatever. Basically, the whole class period you got to eat and also watch a movie. Well, the movie we decided to watch was Spirit. The girls were all for it, but the guys all groaned and belly-ached about it. None of them had seen it, of course, but being guys they thought it would have been unmanly and uncool to watch an animated movie about horses. Well, at first they were all bored and especially disgruntled that there was 'no talking' in the movie. Then slowly they started getting into it. I distinctly remember the scene where Spirit first sees Rain as he and Little Creek are escaping the camp. The way he cocked his eyebrows with interest had all the guys laughing and saying stuff like, "Aw nah, he think she's hot!" At that moment I had to giggle to myself, because they were more into the movie than the girls were. And they didn't even know it. Hee hee.
