That day was bright and warm. Perfect weather for short shorts, tank tops, and all those other outfits guys love to see on girls. I was walking through the parking lot with a group of friends - if you could call them that - smiling at their jokes. We're a loud rowdy bunch, but we're teenagers, you have to expect that. Getting tired of looking at them, I turn my gaze away, something catching my eye. A girl in all black, sitting near the school in the shade of the trees. Despite the heat, she wore a long sleeved shirt, long pants, and the only bit of her skin I could she was her hands; they were pale. Like, not video gamer never-go-outside pale. Almost transparent pale. Her hair was long and black, it fell like a curtain around her face, hiding it. The light breaking through the leaves danced over her hair. She looked like an angel...
