Once upon a time
a princess fell
from the skies.
She tumbled
down
from the heavenly
blue.
She bounced...
...bounced...
...bounced
off of the clouds.
She landed on a
grassy field
the blue skies
guarded it
from above.
Tiny hands
on short arms
reached
for the heavenly
blue.
Small fingers
tried to touch
the skies.
The blue
too far away.
Small feet
on short legs
ran toward what
reached
for the skies.
The branches
of a
majestic tree
touching
the blue.
High above
the grassy green
small fingers
reached
from too far.
Her home called
from afar.
Too far away
was the place
where she belonged.
In a world
that was not her
home
the princess
trapped been.
Wandering
the un-home
she has ever since.
Her destiny
to this day...
...unknown.
