So I read Haruhi Volume 4~
There were some changes
The first 2 chapters were unchanged—It featured the fight with the Cave Cricket
However, Chapter 3 was a new scenario
In the end of Chapter 2, Koizumi explained that 3 other victims were affected by the symbol on Haruhi's website
In the end, the SOS symbol was changed to a ZOZ symbol
So chapter 3 featured Kyon and Imuoto going to visit their grandparents
but it turns out Kyon's grandmother has disappeared
Imuoto thinks that she was just playing Hide and Seek
But she saw the SOS image on her cell phone while searching for Kyon's school
So Kyon uses Yuki's glasses to see these memories
and he winds up seeing a doppelganger of his Grandfather, who looks like himself
He had a sword.
Kyon made the doppelganger disappear, and then everything was all better
Chapter 4 was Remote Island Syndrome
Everything was played out the same, except Imuoto did not attend the trip.
Additionally, the scene where Kyon and Haruhi were in the cave was edited—when Haruhi was drying her clothes was replaced with Koizumi interrupting their conversation about the "mystery"
It is also clearly explained that the knife stabbed into Koizumi and the elder Tamaru brother was a fake.
Chapter 5 just finished Remote Island syndrome
The preview for volume 5 was included in the original japanese text
As we expected—Endless Eight.
