I had to go back to the Cardiologist today for an echocardiogram. Awkward shirtlessness aside, it was one of the coolest things I've ever seen.
To actually WATCH my heart beating was amazing.
It was also kind of creepy...because the doctor who was examining my heart couldn't tell me if she found anything or if there was anything wrong with my heart. She has to give the results to my regular cardiologist..dude...and HE will tell me waz up with my loverly heart. IF there is something "up."
They also sent me over to some other chick (who was awesome) who rigged me up with a 30 day event monitor.
I was having heart palpitations (fancifull word, no?) during the ecg...so I was actually able to see what my heart was doing at the time. It was incredibly creepy. .
