Human
I'm human.
I break rules,
skip school,
and disregard what's 'cool'.
I make promises,
break promises,
and lose focus on what's important.
I love people,
hate people,
and never met the rest.
I miss family,
celebrate births,
and think of all of those which I'm missing.
I have acquaintances,
lost friends,
and try harder each time over.
I drive far,
get away,
and come back eventually.
I try harder,
fail goals,
never learned to prioritize.
I gain morals,
low standards,
only set by what we know as 'society'.
I can smile,
frown also,
for every breath I take may be my best.
I ask others,
beg as well,
for human contact is essential.
I learn things,
forget them,
then start again.
I am human,
born that way,
and forever will stay.
