Shenny, I changed my mind. It's before the birth. Everyone else...this is a random chapter from one of many stories that someone wanted to put up. Enjoy.
Chapter 43
When I walked through the door a wave of disgust washed over me. Rylee was slouched on the love seat with a beer bottle near his feet and a bag of chips in hand. Vincent and Seth were sitting on the sofa, staring blankly at the television. Vincent barely acknowledged me, “Trinity is in the closet,” he sighed.
I purposely walked by Rylee and picked up the half empty bottle. “I need this more than you do,” I took a swig and dropped it in the trash. I made my way towards the room were Natalia was in. Jenna was outside the door with her hands pressed firmly against it. A green light emitted from her fingertips. She turned towards me and tried to smile. Her wrists were bruised and she had whips across her face that looked like someone was clawing at it. "She's calm now. I was able to put a barrier around her room," her voice was low and raspy. The normal high-pitched, babble like voice would have been a comfort to me. She pointed to the door transversed to her. I moved slowly over to the door and knocked twice. There wasn't an answer but I opened the door anyway. Trinity's red hair covered his face. He looked up at me with his head resting in his right hand. I looked into his blue eyes, the once vibrant color was now a darker hue. I looked at his face, and had to turn away. He looked so weak and defeated. Scars and bruises covered his arms and neck. I felt the weight of guilt grow, even though I knew I was in the right. He groaned,"I can't even go in there," he fiddled with the silver ring in his hand, "I can't see my wife," He let go of the ring and looked away from me. "Because of something I created," A pang of sorrow struck my heart. "I give up," he said under his breath. I pushed him and he winced. "You make me sick! That something is your child! What kind of angel are you?!" I yelled at him. He lowered his eyes,"I aplo-," I pushed him again," Don't apologize, just answer me!" I barked at him. "I am no longer angel for God. I Fell," his voice was filled with sadness. I backed away from him and sighed. "What happened to Sage?" I blurted out, "She could have defended you," I was trying to control my emotions. Trinity looked me in the eye, "Sage was Released," Sage was Released...Sage was dead. Tears fell down my cheeks before I could fully comprehend what happened. Trinity wiped my tears with the back of his hand. "Yes, Dianna, cry for the both of us," I did.
