Wow.
Feels like I haven't posted a journal entry in forever. >.<

And I should, considering I think my family's going crazy. As if all of our other pets weren't enough, I don't believe I mentioned my mother's boyfriend buying two baby beardies... and so now mom bought him a baby snake for Christmas.

WTF?!

This man has no previous experience with reptiles, before dating my mother he didn't like the creatures, and he doesn't know how to take care of them. Ugh! And my mother just laughs it off!

I am utterly disgusted. And our own house is so filled with animals, I don't even know how we're managing to take care of them all. Sure I like them all, and love my dog cat and snake (the snake's my only true pet, the rest are family pets, but they might as well be mine). But really? Do we honestly need that many creatures? Mother was complaining today about work getting worse and worse, though she is a vital importance in the district, our state has other ideas about the school system, and might fire all the teachers... And my mother is a teacher. If we have to start cutting back I'm just going to laugh as the electric bills sore due to all the heat lamps for our reptiles.

I know I sound like a horrible child right now, and a bratty one because so many people wish they had pets like us, but you really must see that this isn't exactly an ideal situation...

Ah, I digress...

Today wasn't eventful in the slightest, and thankfully I didn't have any after school events, so I could play catch-up and attempt to finish the huge project I have due next week. Somehow after all the time I put into it tonight, it still feels like I accomplished nothing. *sob*

Guess that's it...
