Hi....
I feel like going on a rant. It's not really much to be upset about ( I assure you that I'm not) but it's quite annoying....
"So, what are you up to, child"
"I don't know how to help, child"
Child? Seriously? *Sigh*.....
I may be young but that doesn't give her permission to call me a 'child'. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind it if it's affection or if it's someone who has obtained a high rank in my mind. But if you are equal to me or even below me, you have no right to call me a child. If you must call me anything for the love of god, call me something appropriate. If you ask I could give you a suggestion, but please.....
I guess it's more of a status thing in my mind. More a rank of importance... Only those whom I know and respect as my elders can call me child. For I justly am. Those whom I see as my equal, (Depending on the person) can call me child as a term for affection.
I can't stand it when someone tries to belittle me by calling me a child. It's.....
You know what...... never mind........
