DARK CHOCOLATE AND PEPPER-SMOKED CARAMEL 2009 (LE, lupercalia, Box of chocolates)
In bottle: The chocolate note balances the caramel well with the pepper giving an interesting edge. Wet: The pepper really comes out on the skin. It’s pleasantly unusual. Dry: Fades rather fast, though the mix stays pretty steady
