This happened quite a while ago, but it is quite amusing.
We live on quite a narrow suburban road, where large cars have quite a bit of trouble going past each other, or if there is a car parked on the side of the road.
And the other night, a bus decided to take a short cut down our road.
We were just sat in our kitchen, chatting, when we head a horrendously loud noise of beeping and engines. At first, we thought it was the bin men coming at a random time because of all the strikes at the moment.
But what slowly drove into view was a double decker bus.
We could only see the top layer over the hedge, all lit up, and we just watched in slience as it went backwards and forwards again and again, tryng to navigate the road which was far too narrow for it.
Eventually, it made it past our house, and we all turned to each other and fell into fits of laughter.
It was hilarious to just see this incredibly slow floating bus to go past.
