Phase
Credit of Angels. (rp)
"]~Qi slides into the abandoned platform of the train line, shivering and dripping wet. On the street above, rain pounds down. The thin girl sniffs, then peels her jacket off, wringing out the water. She does the same to her scarf as well. She lets her gingery hair down, and twists it, getting even more rainwater out. She sits back against the dank wall, shivering and hoping the storm will end soon. The angel wings tattoo on her back is itching like crazy. Or...is it a tattoo? It showed up a few years ago, after she threw a fit over in Hong Kong and blew out the inner east wall of a restaurant...

Ebi Syndus. The Breaking Soul.
As the girl dries herself a young boy slides down the rail to the entrance, his hands in the pockets of his jacket, his hood over his head, hiding his face from her view. His body soaked from the storm above in the Big Apple. He glances over, noticing the pretty girl he fidgets and looks away quickly, apparently flustered by his angelic looks. He glances over to her every so often, his feet inching closer to her every time she looks away, trying to be as conspicuously as possible as it seems.
"Ninja, you are not." she chuckles, fixing her slate-blue eyes on him. "I don't mind your company, but try not to be all sly about it." Her voice has a distinct Chinese accent to it. "I am called Qi, or Jade. What is your title?"
Ebi Syndus. The Breaking Soul.
the boy jolts a bit as he looks away from teh girl like he wasn't doing anything at all. "Well... I wasn't really doing anythin but since you asked So fowardly I guess I have to give you my name." He turns to her grinning a bit, his soft cobalt eyes the only thing really standing out from his drenched face. "The name is Ebi. Ebi Syndus."
"Ebi..." she whispers, and winces as a jolt of pain lances through the wings. She jerks away from the wall, biting her lip to keep from crying out. Something about him...about his name, made her...Other Side react, and strongly. "Interesting name...What's it mean?" she asks as casually as she can once the pain fades a bit.
Ebi Syndus. The Breaking Soul.

He looks at her fairly confused by her reaction but disregaurds it as somethihing less than important. "Hell if I know... My mother has a strange taste in names?"
He chuckles, trying to lighten her mood, he pulls the hood away, his hair as wet as the rest of him, his gaze on the platform as he smiles. His eyes still the only thing noticeable about his face, rather bland looking in fact.

She notices hie response to her action. "Something...about your name...it...i don't know really, it made the wing mark hurt all of a sudden. And that's never happened before."
Ebi Syndus. The Breaking Soul.
He looks to her with a cocked brow, looking at her like she was crazy. "... you definitely know how to make a guy feel special." A hint of anger in his voice rises, his irritation to her remark apparent. Feeling insulted he sighs and takes a step away, his soft eyes now stern and wretched. "I'll leave you alone then if that's what your getting at. you really don't need to lie to me to say your not interested in talking lady."
He steps back a bit, as he does his shadow lingers on the platform floor. It bubbles softly until a figure begins to form from it. It manifests until it makes a descent human shape, the darkness fading from it until it shows the face of the figure.

the beastly man takes a step from his shadows, staring intently at the girl, the boy not noticing what is happening behind him he makes it up to the last step and lights a cigarette, looking away from the scene. "...Jade... I thought I lost you there for a minute there." He creature grins, its teeth scissoring it's own lips as it does. "You know you should never run. you never end up getting away." His words confusing the girl, never seeing this thing in her life, not knowing why this is happening now. "Where is it Jade? Where is your sin? I know it's here." Sniffs the cold damp air. "I can smell it." The beast's grin grows wider.
She gasps, when the creature shows up, her eyes ground wide with fear. "What sin? What are you talking abou--" she's just off as a massive jolt rips through her shoulders, flinging her forward onto her hands and knees, gasping in pain. She looks up, flicks her eys to the boy, then back at the one standing before her. That's when an awful ripping sound is heard, nearly drowned out by the girl's scream of agony. The smell of blood fills the dank space as she collapses. a pair of massive, obsidian-black feathered wings have burst from her back, ripping through the skin to emerge. Under them is the wing mark, indicating the Curse.

the boy looks back, flicking his cigarette quickly as he runs down to her aide, not knowing what beast awaits. He makes it to the two only to skid to a halt, his eyes wide as he stares at the thing in front of her. he stumbles back a bit as the monster turns, it's eye's fixing onto him. "Ah... So there it is."Before any chance the boy had to run the beast's nails are digging deep into his rib cage, the blood spilling across the floor, some of the spatter making it to the blackened angel. The boy stares forward at the beast, eye's riled and frightened, not knowing, not feeling, losing all that is life second by second. "And... So it begins."He drops the boy to the floor, smiling to himself with a sort of glee, looking over to the angel once more."Goodbye Jade. For when we meet again. I do hope we'll all be in Hell."He walks away from the two still bodies. Ebi stares forward, his eyes blurring in and out of vision until he closes his eyes slowly, believing he will never open them again.
After an hour or two, Qi stirs, whimpering a little as she moves. Her shoulders feel...heavy. She opens her eyes, and gasps upon seeing Ebi, and the wings. Sluggishly, she sits up, confused and horrified by what's going on. "Ebi?" she whispers, crawling over to him, unwilling to believe he's dead. Is it because of her? Did her Other Side do something? Not knowing what else to do, she pulls the boy's limp form into her arms, tears falling onto his face. She's too stunned to comprehend what's going on. "Ebi..." she calls his name, hoping that somehow, he'll hear her, and open his eyes.
The boy groans softly, his body cold as death, he does not stir nor move, nor even breath, his heart not pounding, or even beating. The only way she can tell that he was "alive" was the soft groan he made. Nothing more.

"ebi...Ebi, please wake up!" she says, still crying. "Please, Ebi! Open your eyes!!"

The boy shuddens shoves her away, a small cough ecape his lips, holding her away from him with one arm. He looks to her confused, his eye's wincing every so often. He looks away to the well, not sure what to do now he continplates. He looks to her again, his fear fading. Jade notices the blood pooling under the boy, staining his jeans and the bottom of his shirt, the boy somehow not noticing. The wound now a gaping wound, blood trickling from it. He tries to speak, thugh nothing comes forth, he winces once more, not sure of why his speak is invilad.
When she sees the blood, she gasps, her wings stiffening. "Ebi...?" she whispers, scared and confused. Her wings ache, the new muscle clenching painfully in her back, loose inky feather drifting lazily to the dank floor.
Ebi looks to her in a sort of glare, trying to sternly yell at her but cannot make a sound. He grips his neck, not knowing the reason for his silence. He looks down the blood in front of his view though he does not react to it. Just staring down in confusement. He looks to her with a stern glare, :What have you done to me!?: A voice from the mist of nothing comes forth, the boy's lips staying still confusing Jade more to hear his voice from nowhere at all.
"I didn't do anything!" she says, utterly confused and crying. "It was that creator that did this...It did it to both of us! He...it...I don't know!" she wails. "All i know is that something way strange is going on!!!"

Ebi shivers a bit, looking back a bit. Not sure of what to do now. He looks to the girl, the voice now calm as it speaks. :Are you... alright lady>?:
"My name is Qi. And no! I'm not okay! I suddenly have a massive pair of jet black wings sprouting from my back, I watched you get run through, and a creature tells me you're my sin and that I'll see him again...In Hell!"
:You say sin... Meaning like... sex?: Not even noticing the other words at all, a typical boy.
"I don't know..." she shakes her head, rubbing at her eyes, still streaming with tears. "I don't know at all...."
He stares at the girl for a long moment before taking her into his thin yet built arms, holding her close to his damaged torso, not sure of how else to calm the girl down, Still not noticing his own blood that is in plain sight, everywhere.
Her heavy wings drag on the ground, a few more loose feathers dropping free.
He holds her closely, Long and motionless. :You... Okay?: He asks softly from his manifested voice. Looking down at her with soft, pleasent eye's.
"What defines as 'okay' now?" she wonders. "I don't know if I really am..."
His eye's drift from her as they grow stern, deep into his own thoughts, he looks to where the beast once was, contimplating on his next actions, on the next thing to say, the next thing for everything now.
She looks at her jacket, and picks it up, tying it around her waist. "What do we do now?" she wonders, looking to him, hoping to try a plan.
He looks back to her, holding himself up now, the gaping hole more noticable now. :We need to get to the far end of teh city. Get into the Bay or to Massuchuettes.: He looks to the well once more. :It's late but there will still be people about. We have to take the back roads.: He takes her by her hand, leading her into the subway trakcs. :We have to hurry. The next rush will be in about an hour, so We have to get to the end of the next station before then if we don't want to be hit by the train.:
"O-okay..." she says nervously. She's never walked on train tracks before. "What do we do if a train comes? Do we die?"
He sighs, jumping down into the well, holding out his hand to her to help her down into it. :We'll just have to see what happens huh?: He smirks a bit to reassure her, the blood still on his hands seem invisable to him in some way, for it does not bother him. :Get you a** down here before I pull you down.: He jokes with her, trying his best to lighten her mood.
