Silence
Time to perish, give up and sleep
With my eyes wide open in this slumber
Much like a dream, none of it I can keep
To this knowledge I credit my falling under
Even then what does it mean when angels weep
Surely not helpless hands of a perfect blunder
So my tears they freeze inside as seasons change
The wintry fangs devouring my warm summer
I sighted this predicament from record range
Still to this knowledge I lie why I fell under
Now as I did lie here I have began to lay
Still and tangled in echoes of what I say
No physical form to bind me still I am silent
Except of course, inside a child prays.
...who will you be dreaming of?
