Once there was a cursed maiden who had to drink blood to survive.She lived all alone in a forest and did nothing except watch the birds and envy their wings.Well,one day an archer that served a king came to the forest and found the maiden.They fell deeply in love.The archer was in so much love he never left the maidens side.Many years passed and the two were still happy together.Then a fearsome demon arrived.He stole the vampire maiden and put her in his garden.Thearcher tried looking for her but could not find her.Centuries passed,but the vampire maiden never forgot her beloved.Each night she wept and the demon felt sorry for her so he asked her if there was anything she desired.She knew her lover was dead so she simply said,"I only wish that everytime I shed tears that I am granted three wishes so that my sorrow can be replaced." The demon was so foolishly in love he agreed to her request!That night when the demon was asleep,the maiden cried.Afterwards she wispered that she was lifted to the stars and could never come down.Suddenly she began to float up higher and higher.She began to cry again and her heart was broken and and she so cold that she turned into a cold,lifeless,sphere.Now the maiden was happy.So happy she gleamed silver light.For now she could be with her love.The spirit of her lover would always come to her.She would always shine for him.From then on they were the man on the moon. heart ConsultingHallMonitor · Mon Oct 05, 2009 @ 12:22am · 0 Comments
