So life for me is all around good right now. Luke was supposed to be home around the 8th but turns out he'll be in Turkey until October 16th but I can deffinately wait a few extra days for him to come home. ^-^
Next, a little while back I took an writing apptitude test for the Institute of Childrens Lit., a sort of school that helps teach people how to write better for kids. Now here's the really cool part, I passed. whee I deffinately plan on trying this thing out.
And Mommy is almost a trucker now. She just needs to pass another part of a test and then she's free to be released on a trainer. She be excited she be.
Lastly but probably more important than the first thing I mentioned, a few weeks back my Grump (Grampa) had surgery to replace a valve in his heart. After the operation was finished he didn't wake up immediately and an MRI showed that during the surgery he had over 40 mini-strokes. As much as it freaked most us out, Grump is doing really well so far from what we thought he would be. He seems to have not been permanatly paralized any where, every once in a while talks to people in his room, and a few days ago got a meal in his mouth other than through a tube shoved down his nose. I'm pretty sure thats whats made him the happiest recently. Yay for Grump!!
