Rain falling, hitting the window pane.
A rhythemic beat, a thumping drum.
A cloudy sky, all colored in gray.
A hidden sun, no light on our path.
A single lantern, leading the way.
Helping us when no one else would.
A breaking heart, ripped in two.
A throbbing pain, a hurt that never goes away.
A wandering soul, lost amoung other.
Looking for love, amoungst the wrong people.
A shining star, bright against the night sky.
