these wings so broken
from all the things you did
i wanted some much to fly into the sunset
and drift away with you
but you went into the other direction
darkened by your words
and the pain you cause me
it rips my heart out every night that i cry
i sit here swinging in the wind
wishing to fly into the sunset with you
knowing that will never happen
wishing i never met you
i have no say anymore
with these broken wings of mine
no pride stand with
no voice to sing with
so i will sit here
alone
