OH.MAI.GAWD.
Hawaii was amazing!! It was even better than Cancun! I'll make a list of what I did ^_^
~1st day: Arrival, checked in at hotel, went to bed, jet laaag.
~2nd day: Roamed around, checked out surrounding stores and beaches. The view from our hotel room was AMAZING, we were right next to the beach! We just had to go across the street and the beach was right there! ^_^ OH. AND. There's these stores, and they named themselves "ABC Store". There are a freakin' million of them. I counted NINE of them ON THE SAME STREET. Then there were more in malls, and even across the street from each other. And some were disguised. I walked in a store called "Hawaiian Casuals", looked at the front, near the doorway, and it said, "ABC Store". It was ridiculous, I bet there's over 100 of them in O'ahu alone.
3rd Day: We went to Hanauma Bay. You snorkel there and theres little fishies that surround you ^^ Except for the parrotfish. They're huge and they scare me. 0.0
4th Day: Rain, Rain, Rain. Stupid hurricane. So we went to the Polynesian Cultural Center. That place is one of the coolest places evarr.
5th Day: KAYAKING! We kayaked 1 1/2 miles off the mainland and into smaller islands surrounding. Then we went hiking on the volcano. It. was. dangerous. We arrived at Shark Cove. There aren't any sharks, just fishies. So I dragged my bro with me to go snorkeling. My cousin was a scaredy-cat. Our kayaking guide, Jim, was so cool. He taught us about how the whole cove was part of the volcano and told us about when he jumped off a 70-foot-cliff there. There was a 15 foot rock that i was going to jump off of, but you had to cross a 5 in. thick ledge to get there, and i got scared. D: Oh, there was a sea urchin the size of my head there too, and bright blue. 0.0
6th Day: W00T I CAN SURF NOW. but i still suck lol. our instructor, Derek, was hilarious. He told my bro that I was the only person he ever met who balances by not sticking my arms out. And it was the weirdest thing he ever saw. lol. I caught all the waves except for the fist 3. And he calls the stupid people "deer" because they stare at you until you run them over, like a deer staring into the headlights of a speeding truck.XD Oh, and I HATE BOARD RASH. good thing i had a rash guard and board shorts. but my arms still have it from paddling out to sea and rubbing against the board.
7th Day: OMG I HATE HAWAI'I AIRPORTS!!!!! The whole thing was OUTDOORS, and the last 2 flights before ours were cancelled, so we had to wait in the scorching heat for about 4 hours. and the airport had no air-conditioned-indoor restaurants. ....and. it was in the middle of nowhere, so we couldn't go anywhere to rest. then there was a delay in our flight because our pilot thought something was wrong. after a 45 minute flight, we got on another plane to america. which was about 5 hours. It wasn't that bad, actually, I've been on a 9 hour car trip, but i like to move around, and you cant just land the plane anywhere for a break.
Thanks for making it through that whole thing ^^ Hawaii sounds boring in my journal, but it's the best. ever.
