a possible part for my story! >.< please comment!!!
I decided to go look around the campus. I closed my dorm room door. many kids passed me in the hall, some looking very odd. One girl looked like she belonged in an ad about what popular girls were supposed to look like. One boy had purple hair, and one boy was covered in piercings and he had a "Vegetarian Vampire" shirt on with checkered skinny jeans!
I walked down the hall, feeling like I stuck out. Everyone here looked really unique. A girl nodded at me as I walked. I had my signature studded braclets and bangles piled on my arms, my black strapless summer dress, and black and paint splattered tights with green high tops. My wavy long blond hair just hung half-way down my back. It seemed like everyone had one distinctive special thing about them.
One girl's hair sparkled like rubies were in her brown hair! One boy, oh my gosh! He was floating down the hall! I could see in lift a foot, like he was walking, but he stepped on air! He was floating about six inches above the ground! Another girl kept disappearing, I thought she was just walking behind someone, but she reappeared three feet from me! She could become invisible!!
I decided to go check out the front grounds. I walked down to the Main Hall, looked up, and was surprised again at how large the front doors were. I pushed one open and stepped outside. I was in awe all over again. Outside the castle-like building, it was even more beautiful! I didn't think anything could've been! A large fountain with what looked like a wizard in the middle spouted sparkly green water out of the sides. Benches were scattered around the grounds, and I went and sat on one that was underneath a huge evergreen tree. And that's when I saw him. I had never seen him before and I didn't know his name, but it felt like I'd known him as long as I could remember. He stood by he fountain with his friends. My heart fluttered insanely just by thinking about him.
What is your name...? I wondered to myself. He suddenly looked up and around him. Oh Crap! I thought. I had forgotten about my Telepathy. I can not only move objects with my mind, but i can talk to people with my mind, too. I just couldn't control when i did yet.
He was still looking around when his friend said, "Skylar, what's wrong?"
Skylar...That's a nice name... I thought. He jumped. Darn, darn darn!!! I hadn't meant to do that! i got up and ran back to the door, to a place where I couldn't possibly mess up so much.
I ran up three flights of stairs and looked down the Dormitory Halls. I walked through the third floor of dormitories until I came up to mine. I looked at the plaque next to the door. What once was blank now read, "Resident One, Name: Rebecca Haluska. Power: Telekenisis & Telepathy."
So I guess I didn't just have a really clean roomate, I didn't have any yet! I took out my key, unlocked the door, and walked in, closing my door behind me. My bags still sat next to the bed on the left, and there was a stack of books on my desk that hadn't been there before. I went and sat down in my desk chair and examined them.
Telepathy for beginners... How to Control and Inhance Your Telekinetic Powers... The History of Mental Power... These seemed to be books for my classes.
I was then startled by a sudden scratching noise. I looked at the door and heard it again. I stood up and walked to the door, and opened it, nervous for who or what might be there.
A cat. It walked in, jumped on the other bed, yawned and looked at me. It cocked it's head. Then, all-of-a-sudden, it changed into a girl! She was sitting cross-legged on the bed, smiling at me. She was beautiful! She had a light toffee colored skin, and really tight, small curles piled on her head. Her hair was short, she was long and lean like me, with the same color dark brown eyes as mine. She smiled bigger.
"Hi! I'm Margerate, but you can call me Peggy!"
