I look at you when you smile but you don't smile back. I feel like a dead weight brought upon your shoulders yet I am always still here for you. When you feel like no one is around to comfort you, I am there. I am there for your joys and there for your sorrows. You once in a while take a glance at me but sometimes you stare for quite a while. That is what brings a smile to my face but.....when I am there....comforting you.....you embark onto a new and miraculous event that leaves you with a smile. I am happy for you but..you just....leave me behind.....no matter what happens to you and you feel that you are alone....I am there.....Forever and always....your shadow
