The Asakura family have always been a rich & high standard family & had always been business people, Seiichi & Hideo the Twins where the only heirs to the Asakura business so a lot of hope & pressure where placed upon those two, The youngest twin had not as much pressure for her was the younger one & wasn’t expected to be the successor as much as the elder brother would because of this Seiichi become very carefree & did not care much for the family company & instead perused a life of music creating a band called ‘Doki Doki Kokoro’ with him being the lead guitarist & became really good friends with the singer of the band who’s name was Ai.
Seiichi soon became a disgrace to the family for picking not to peruse with the family’s business & pick a lowly career as a guitars, he was quickly disowned from the family & was denied any money from the family to support him. Seiichi didn’t mind too much for he was living his dream but his brother Hideo was shattered to loose his own twin & soon became depressed & was now unable to escape the family & had all their pressure upon him to become successful & succeed the family. Seiichi started to become close to Ai & even started to develop feeling for her & hoped she would feel the same way some day. As years past their band soon started to become slightly famous so Hideo after finally becoming the successor of the family business decided to go visit one of his own brothers concerts. Being mistaken as Seiichi he was dragged behind stage & was expected to perform. He argued with Ai for a while telling her & everyone else that he wasn’t Seiichi until Seiichi finally arrived on the scene. Ai being embarrassed apologised to Hideo & started laughing about it with him. After the concert Hideo talked with Ai for a long time and it was love at first sight for the both of them.
Ai & Hideo soon started going out after that but they kept it secret so Seiichi didn’t even know about it. It was only when Hideo proposed to Ai after a year of dating he & Ai went public. When Seiichi found out she was shattered & felt like his brother had betrayed him. He then stoped talking to Hideo & had so much hatred for him. He decided to channel all this raw emotion into his music. Ai soon became pregnant & gave birth to a baby girl, Hideo decided to name her after Ai for he loved her so much. Aiko their daughter grew up admiring her mother so much even though she had never seen any of her concerts but she loved song her mother would sing her, he most favourite song was the lullaby her mother would sing her to sleep. Aiko went to Seiyo Elementary for a few years but soon had to transfer away when she had to move because of her fathers business. A rival band soon popped up started to spread rumours & make up scandals which ended up ruining Seiichi’s band & his dream so bad that it could not be restored & no company’s or agency’s would give them the light of day. Both Seiichi & Ai where crushed, they both became withdraw and depressed loosing their band they put their hearts & souls into. Ai slowly stoped eating and became weak until she was hospitalized. Hideo was really worried about Ai & started to hate music for what it had done to his wife, so when he noticed that Aiko became more & more like her mother being really determined to become a singer he yelled at her & started to plan who to try & change Aiko’s dreams to something else.
It seemed no mater what he did she got more & more into performing saying she wanted to make people smile. Soon her own little shugo chara was born named Amane , a little wolf chara with wings who loved performing. For some strange reason her father could see & knew what Amane was. Her father decided to join & work with the scientist in Easter for he new that they where experimenting on chara’s & X-chara’s. Hideo soon became the chief scientist on a major project to see if it possible increase the power of shugo chara’s, he the held a secret side project that no one new about & those who did though is was just the usual experiment to increase power when actually it was an experiment on his own daughter, to see if it is possible to change a chara’s existence & power AKA changing a persons dream. He want to change Aiko’s dream so she wouldn’t end up like her mother. During the experiments it seem changing her dream weakened it for a bit & in that time her chara reverted to a X-chara. After seeing this happen Hideo decided to stop the experiments for there seemed there was a risk that if this kept going her chara would be completely destroyed. When Aiko woke up she felt like something missing as if she was incomplete, she found a strange X-Chara with bunny ears she called out Amane’s name but it seemed not to have any memory of its named & didn’t respond to it so she simply named her shugo chara Rini for it meant little rabbit. Hideo ashamed of what he had doe to his daughter didn’t want to be seen by her.
Hideo decided to finally contact Seiichi who had said he’d never wanted to see him ever again after Hideo married Ai. Seiichi was hesitant to take on Hideo’s request which was to look after Aiko for she hated his brother but would do anything for Ai & since this was her daughter, but he wasn’t exactly the best person to look after a child after the loosing his band he became a bit of a slob & was living on take out since he couldn’t cook plus he didn’t have much money But Hideo reassured him that Aiko can cook for herself & that he would pay for all her expenses. Aiko moved in with her uncle but was quite rebellious at first being angry t what her father had done & also finding out she had to live with a uncle she didn’t know about & which was worse was that he looked exactly like her father. She returned to going to Seiyo Elementary but at first she would always skip class which got her into bad terms with a girl named Enrika. After a while Rini ran away with a group of X-eggs becoming like the ring leader (there seemed to be a large amount of X-chara’s & eggs around due to the experiments of her father that where also stronger now.)
After a while Aiko started to settle down and started acting the way she used to after being talked to by her childhood friend Tadase. She started to get close to her uncle & enjoyed what ever bad luck he seemed to be drawn to. Aiko then wanted to become like her former self which was brave & always protected people but it didn’t seem to work for she had become shy & withdrawn after the experiment. After wishing to be her former self she found another egg when she woke up the next day. Too her surprise when the egg hatched two shugo chara’s had popped out of the one egg. It seems that because of her dreams being weakened her second shugo chara had been split into two half its power. After the hatch of her new shugo chara’s she joined the guardian where she made her first new friend which ended up being Enrika & soon became the best of friends who was one of the few people. Enrika became one of the only people she felt she could trust fully ever since she lost trust in people because of being experimented on by her own father. Aiko now is in search of Rini & restoring her but hasn’t told anyone about Rini or her past.
