Anguish grows into a state of hopelessness and despair. I fear that this world and my existence have lost their meaning. My tears are shed and flow like blood. Praying for an end is the only chance left for me. Helpless and wounded, let me lay dying on the ground.

A truth displayed only by a masquerade
Spitting out feelings through a charade
It's all just a simple play of words
Spiral and fall, going backwards

A nerve continuously shakes and tears
For holding in the pain it forever bears
Locking the pain and keeping up a guard
Without a worry that it may be hard

My concern drifts to a will to be strong
Even if hiding should be so wrong
Broken smiles and grins of despair
A sense of failure lingers in the air

I push myself to fight what I cannot win
And feeds the torment that I am in
Growing loneliness at an eternity end
Rewinding my existence over again

From the start to a finish
My hope will diminish
Joy is quickly burned to ashes
When our fear or anger crashes

Lies that lead to deceit
What is pity turns to defeat
More torture fuels the screams
Souls are ripping at the seams

Cries are left unspoken and unknown
To the helpless, all alone
The needs of our kind are never met
Staking our sanity is a cautious threat

Nothing remains in a heart of wound
Wishing that a death be swift and soon
Carelessly cowering under wraps
All are watching as the walls collapse
