People always complain that they didn't get the chance to say goodbye when a loved one dies unexpectedly. But think about it; if they were actually given the chance, would they really take it? Not likely. The more obvious path is that they would cry and hold said loved one's hand and refuse to let go. But down that path, there's no closure either. So really, I don't think there's any winning.
