Sigh, I'm bored. I'm glad to be home though~ so here's something I just barely thought up~!
Saniago sighed as he lit a cigarette, It was quiet, and nothing was happening right now. Nope, the only real excitement was when Proteo would use Dominic as his punching bag. Santiago chuckled lightly. That kid Proteo had taken in, Zale, He was pretty clever. While he was making whatever ridiculous meal Proteo wanted, He would somehow get dominic to go towards whereever Proteo was, and When he started getting grouchy and went to betch mode, Zale was safely in the kitchen while Dominic became the punching bag. Even better, Dominic was Proteo's FAVORITE punching bag.
Santiago shook his head. Proteo was a strange one. For starters, he wasn't male. But he wasn't female. According to Eco, Leviathans do have a choice of taking on the appearence of a male or a female. Proteo chose male simply for conveinience. then secondly, Proteo was going to die soon. Leviathans can't die until thier due time, according to Arif, who knew Proteo's "father" who had lived through the empires and dictatorships in athens, that no matter how much the soldiers tried, they couldn't kill him. and finally, and probably the most interestingly strange part was, Proteo was pregnant.
According to Eco, Leviathans had to conceive a successor once near time of death. He remembered when he had overheard Proteo telling the news to Zale, the boy went into a slight state of despair. But, Zale was spending as much time with Proteo as he could. Sanitago smiled "Three...two...one..." He heard a sudden cry "ZALE~! WHERE'S MY ICE CREAM WITH HOT SAUCE AND MAPLE SYRUP?!"
Sanitago blinked "Thats a new one..." He heard Dominic yells of pain as Proteo beat him up. The phoenix laughed.
Later that day, Santiago decided to go back to his villa in Barcelona, Spain in te human world. At least THERE, something was always happening, whether it was gosip about the people humans reguarded as famous simply for acting, or it was about one country with their nuclear weapons aiming at the United States or Russia or something. He sighed as he gathered up some items. Humans were strange beings. They wanted to make peace, but they always had weapons pointed at each other. They seemed to ALWAYS without fail hurt each other. Santiago then opened a portal and left.
He relaxed on the balcony of his home, gazing at the beautiful city he called home. "Ahh...my lovely barcelona...I missed it so much...." He murmured quietly.
It was already nighttime as he entertained himself by watching what humans reguarded as "entertainment" by watching a motion picture on his television. Apparently it had lots of famous people in it so he decided to watch it. So far the movie was entertaining. "Knock Knock" The red head blinked. He got up and opened the door. He saw a young girl with lavender hair in long pigtails. "Buenas Noches Brie." He said bowed. Brie nodded "Hello Santiago. May I come in?" Santiago blinked, then nodded "Of course, I'll make some coffee perhaps." She simply nodded as she looked around the kitchen.
He went into the kitchen and made some of that strange brew called "coffee" It tasted awful alone, but with enough milk, cream and sugar, it tasted good. But right now, his mind raced
"Why is Brie here? Why is she alone? Where's Eco? Has something happened?"
He placed the mug infront of Brie. He then sat down and asked her "Brie, what's going on? Wheres Eco?" Brie seemed distant for a second then she answered quietly "Eco has fallen ill. He's home in Rome, Itly right now. He's getting better but things have been tense back at headquarters. Remember Hideki-san?" Santiago nodded. He had never really liked the vampire, Hideki always eyed him like prey (Which was probably what he was thinking) and he felt bad for Takashi and Daisuke who had to put up with him. He felt bad for Takashi actually. Before his death, Hideki always eyed Takashi like food. It was creepy. But, Takashi was dead and that was that.
"What about him?"
"He's dead"
Santiago nearly spit out his coffee. "How--?!" Brie looked at him "He was planning to kill the keeper and Tamer, but they wound up killing him in battle. Also, he just found out from the Keeper, who is Takashi's youngest son, that Hideki murdered Takashi by the poison we found in his blood." Sanitago grumbled "I never trusted Hideki." "Neither did I. I knew what went on in his head..." She shivered slightly. Santiago gulped then demanded "What about the keeper and tamer?" brie looked at him. Purple clashed with orange
"Firstly, the Keepers name is Hikaru Dusk Higurashi. And the Tamer is Kyo Knight. Secondly, they arrived at the base a while ago to start training." Sanitgo blinked "How old are they?" "very young. Only 18 in human years."
"Younger than the last pair. and thier boys this time...Maybe they'll actually engage in combat more..."
