Against the Tree where They first met,
He waits....
Stading near the Archway where they kissed,
He waits...
When the love of his live leaves him,
He doth wait at that gate, for her...
The people called him mad,
Bt he doesn't listen, he continues to wait.
Then one Day she leaves,
and doesn't come back in her promised time,
But That Knight that loves her continue to wait,
The people say she deserted him, he refuse to listen
Days, months, and years do pass,
and he still waits, unaging in the flow of time
as their Tree grows and their Arch decays.
Yet still he Waits, loving no one else
Finally she returns,
and finds him sleeping againt their Tree,
Holding both ring and necklace,
a sign of his eternal love for her.
She smiles as tears form, and lies with him,
Her eternal lover, The one who will wait
Till Time ends.
