Temperature and Heat
Temperature 1.1:
People commonly describe temperature as hot and cold. But hot and cold is not very precise, but it is still useful. Everyone knows that Hot represents high temperature and cold indicates how temperature.
Temperature is measured in [kelvins](K).
A change in temperature of 1 kelvin is the same as a change of 1 degree Celsius.
Matter in Motion
All matter is made of tiny particles (atoms and molecules). Molecules are made of atoms, just held together by chemical bonds. Atoms and molecules are so small that a speck of dust has trillions of them. However, in all materials such as solid, liquid, or gases--- these particles are always in motions.
Particles are always in motions.
Temperature 1.2:
Since, particles are always in motions. Gases, solids, and liquids are always in motion.... even when they appear not too . The temperature of an object is related to the average kinetic energy of the atoms or molecules.
The faster these particles are moving the more kinetic energy they have--- thus higher the temperature of the object.
(Hot cocoa vs cold cocoa) Hot cocoa has more kinetic energy because the temperature of the object is high because all of the particles are moving really fast! and cold cocoa is just the opposite.

Kinetic energy is a form of motion.
A spinning bike wheel, a sprinting runner, a football passing through the goal post... they all have kinetic energy.

I'd rethink this sentence. Kinetic energy is not a form of motion, but it is a characteristic that all actively moving particles possess.
If I were to make a motion from point A to point B, an observer would say 'She appears to be walking' not 'She appears to be kinetic energying'.
Particles which are not actively moving possess potential energy.
