Earth. The most beutiful planet in the solar system. Or at least it was. Left with rubble strewn everywhere, people starving and dead bodies lying in the streets of third world countries, the richest, most powerful country on this planet has no way to respond. And the people of these countries offer no help either. What has it come to when a billionair will spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on a house or car, when that money could be used to feed homeless children or give a family of five another chance at life? What does it say about us as people? We say we're the most peaceful race outside of minescule bugs, yeet we will watch another die so we can have the pleasures of life. And don't even tell me "I do my part" because the truth is, none of us are completely innocent of these actions. We all have our electronics, our cell phones and game boys. Hell, all of you reading this have a computer. This money could have been usedby a homeless man to buy meals for a week, but the truth is, humans are born, raised, and die selfish creatures. This selfishness goes past buying thing and homelessness. We have dedicated our very lives to making weopons of mass destruction so that our country, whichever one you're from, can be top dog and rule over the others. Think about it though. If we kep killing others, having war, and blowing eachother up, how can we win? We won't rule anything because there willl be nothing left to rule. We won't be able to laugh at anyone and say "I beat you" because everyone will be dead. And when that happens, you will probably die as well. Death only leads to death and when it comes to murdering for what you want, no one is a winner. How can we want to win if it means killing innocent familys because three wackjobs from the one country decided to act douchy and bomb us? Does any of it make sense? So next time you go out and buy a new video game or you crack a black joke, think about what it could have helped, or the trouble it could have saved you to keep your mouth shut.
