The blood flow in my veins couldn't possibly compare to what was going to come right now. The flow was fast, and it grew faster and faster, like I could feel it rushing through my veins. My heart, pumping heavily, was exciting and my stomach was turning with every second. An experience of a lifetime was about to come, and I couldn't wait. The wind blew gently in my face, making it feel absolutely wonderful for me, drenched in sweat.
I turn towards my partner, who nods. Both of us are one of the same. We are best friends, but not for long. We might not survive this ride, but it will be worthwhile. We are pushed by our determination, speeding down the hill. I turn to him, grinning. We're both laughing, our lungs filling with air with every laugh and breath. Suddenly, everything fades away, and everything in my sight grows white. I feel like I'm blacking out, and I crash...
We are in a speeding tunnel, a cool, blue tunnel. It feels like we are underwater, but we are not. He turns to me, and says something to me. I can't understand him, but it seems like he had changed during the ride. I felt something too. The link towards my partner's was gone now, and it will be..forever.
I feel a snap, as we head towards different tunnels. We are separate now going our separate ways. I have no idea where I am going, and I don't care. I'm either dead...or experience something. Suddenly, the ending was coming near. Am I going to heaven? Hell? Somewhere else, perhaps? The light comes closer and closer, and I'm almost there....
I see my partner in front of my, suspended in a bubble. I see that I am in a bubble as well. I scream, and slam my fists against the bubble. He makes no attempt though, it seems as though he doesn't want to have the link with me anymore. I give up, collapsing to the clear floor. The bubble pops. I'm falling, and my stomach is turning. But not in a good way.
My partner is gone. Now and forever. We will never be the same again.
