Good Morning.
In my last journal I believe I was talking about my iPod, well looking into I could do it myself since I have a model that can be easily fixed but I can't help ask myself if it would be wise on my part.
It has been six years since I've torn apart a computer and rebuilt it, but one lesson I learned is not to relay on a drawing of the specs but to actually take pictures which in turn is more helpful in my view.
I still plan on buying a new iPod instead of sending it in for a $200 repair which I believe is outrageous just for a headphone jack being replaced, plus buying a new one will give me more GB's which means I can have all of current podcast on it.
I think I'll give it a shot on repairing it as a fun little thing to do, plus if I can fix my old iPod maybe I'll get more confidence in myself that I can do alot.
Since I'm on the subject of computers now, I think I'll take another computer repair class so I can be brushed up on whats new or has changed since I took it in high school, if I can do good in that then I'll go out and get my A+ certification which would allow me to be an actual Computer Tech and make some money on the side repairing computers and built new ones. ^^
Now that we're on the subject of repairs, I will more or less have to send my cell phone in for a repair.
I've only had the phone for about six months and the little charger chip came out so now I have to play with the little to get it back in so it can charge.
Today I plan to call them and ask what they will do about it since my phone is still under warranty I believe.
My cell is actually one of my life lines, it keeps me in touch with friends, family, & work.
Well I think I've said what's currently on my mind but I feel I'll have more to add later after I get back from work.
