"Why exactly are we skipping class on the first day,"asked Nami.
"Uh... because it's our way of officially welcoming you,"I said trying to hide the fact why Midori,Nami and I were actually skipping. The reason was it was the only time Midori could meet up with Zero. Nami and I went along because we as her two best friends had to guard for her, we didn't want anyone such as Yuki to find us. The last time that happened hell broke loose and Midori almost used her power on Yuki and that wouldn't have been very pretty.
When we started to get closer to the fountain where Midori and Zero usually would meet up at, Midori broke into a run. Nami was about to follow but I grabbed her arm and made her sit down on a bench.
While I was looking around nervously hoping that no one would find us I heard a snapping of twigs, mine and Nami's attention immediately turned towards the bush that we heard the sound come from. Before either of us could go check it the rustling became louder and I heard the sound of an animal emerge I could hear it whatever it was it lunged at Nami.
Quickly I grabbed Nami's arm and jerked her back. Nami let out an extremely loud shriek, which only caused what I was guessing was a wolf to snarl and circle around us ready to go in for the kill. My heart was beating ten times faster then usual I was sure it'd explode. I stood completely still Nami remained frozen with fear and stood next to me dead quiet.
"Nami when I let go of your arm run and find Midori and Zero," I whispered cautiously not wanting the wolf to hear me.
Nami nodded "What'll happen to you Ami."
"Nothing just go!!," I yelled and released her arm from my death grip.
Nami took off like a bat out of hell in the direction towards were Zero and Midori where. I closed my eyes and waited took feel canine fangs sink into my skin. My senses alerted me and told me that the wolf had decided to lunge I waited for the impact but nothing happened.
Instead I heard two loud gunshots come towards me but the snarling remained.
"Oh my god are ok Ami," Midori screeched while she ran towards my side and pulled me towards her a Zero.
"Nami ,where's Nami ?" I asked.
"Right here," Nami said I then noticed that she had been standing next to me too. Before I could say thanks to Zero for scaring the wolf i heard him growl in frustration.
"Move out of the way that demon deserves to die!" Zero practically commanded.
"Zero calm down he knows what he's doing," Midori said trying to jerk Zero's hand down, even if I was blind I knew he had his bloody rose out prepared to shoot.
