Chapter 12
"Wake up...You need to wake up Rachel."someone said. I opened my eyes,
but my eye sight was still blurry. "There's her eyes. She will be fine. The
nurse will bring up some food for her." a man said. "Thank you, Dr.
Dillard." said another voice. My vision was still blurry, but when I
started to look around, I saw Max staring at me. "How you feeling
Rach?" Max said with relief. "I can't see strait, it's still blurry. Um,
where am I?" I said confused. "Your at the doctor, again. The doctor said
you might not see straight because you lost a lot of blood from your cut
and from the knife in your back. But you'll be fine." Max said smiling.
I stared at him, he had a black eye, a cut on his cheek with an "x"
bandage (like me), and a bruise on his arm. "What happened to you?
Will you be okay?" I asked him concerned.
"Rachel, you've been sleeping for two days, it was a lot worse, but this is what happened.
* When you were knocked out, I took the knife out of your back, and your
mom took you to the hospital. Once I saw you going, Terry took the
knife away from me, and threw it above my shoulder. It gave me a cut
but I'm ok. After he threw it, he tried to make a run for it, but I
was able to catch him. There was kicking, punching, and of course,
blood. After we were both were tired, your dad's organization came
and took Terry and I said " Let go of Terry! Even though he is an
a*****e!" Terry started to laugh and said,"Look at you! Your one
to talk. And I'm there side you idiot!" Then everybody started to
laugh. "Lets stop talking, and lets get Max." Your father said.
Some soldiers were trying to get me, while others were trying to make
Terry feel better. I had to run very fast, but they still caught
up. Once Terry felt better he tried to catch me. But he did and he
was on top of me, and gave me the cut on my cheek. But when I kicked Terry off
of me, It was too late to run. But when they were about to put me the
white van, Piper,Tommy,Saik, Riku, and Crimson came to save me.They
took me out of the soldiers hands and we all ran from there. Of course
Terry tried to catch up, but Crimson stopped and threw a rock at his head.
I started to laugh, and so did everybody else.Then we ran.*
I started to laugh too. I could imagine Terry getting hit with a rock.
"Where are they all now?"I asked
"There all in the waiting room...the doctors wont let more than two animals
in a room...a*****e."
I laugh. I stared at him and I sat up on my bed. I smiled at him, and
he smiled back.
"Do you really want to marry me? Or did I just put you there on the
spot?" Max said.
"Max, I love you a lot, and I want to marry you!"
He smiled, but then it disappeared.He said looking down,"There's one
problem though."
"What is it?" I asked confused.
"Your fifth-teen...and I'm fifth-teen...we're too young to get married.
We have to wait for a while."
"Oh, well....we need to make a promise...we both wont ever forget this,
and we can't break up.I love you more than anything Max. I know theres
a lot of pretty girls out there that's better than me and I don't want to lose you over the years"
I said, and a tear came out of my eye.
" I will never fall for another girl but you. I love you a lot too. Now...
give me a smile!" he said smiling.
I couldn't help but giving him a smile.
"There it is."he said back.
"Hey, Max, we need to go, it's nine. Stupid doctors won't let us stay."
Said someone.
"Who was that?" I said.
"Thats Crimson, he is one of my best friends."Max said."Come here Crimson. This
is Rachel, Rachel this is Crimson."
"Nice to meet you."Crimson said.
"Nice to meet you too. Max when did they say I can see again?" I asked.
"Maybe in two days. I have to go sweetheart. Love you, see you
tomorrow." he said, and kissed my forehead.
I couldn't help but to blush. So Max and Crimson, and the rest of
the people went to go.
