Chapter 11
"Why not? He saved me!" I screamed back to my mom.
"Terry told me everything. You don't have to hide it anymore. Your safe." my mom replied.
I was really confused, and my mom could tell.
"Max!" I screamed for him to come.
"What did Terry tell you?" I asked my mom.
Max came running toward me.
"Get away from Rachel!" Terry screamed and tackled Max to the ground.
"Terry told me that Max hits you. And when you two walked outside the door, you two
started to fight. You went to far, and Max gave you that big cut on you cheek. Terry was
there because he wanted to talk to you, and when he saw you on the ground, he tackled
Max to the floor. I misunderstood that Terry did the cut but he kindly explained to me."
my mom explained.
Max and I had a black and surprised expression on our face.
"It's a lie! Don't believe him!" Max screamed.
"Shut up, lair!" Terry screamed back at Max and Terry punched Max across the face. I wasn't
just going to stand here and let Terry punch Max, so I ran up to Terry and punched him on
his cheek, and he fell off of Max. I stuck my hand out, and Max took it.
"Mom, everything Terry told you was a lie. Max is sweet, and he will never hit me. He likes
me, and I like him. How could you believe Terry?" I explain to my mom.
She stared at me like I was dumb.
"Because I've know Terry since he was five years old, and he is 16 now. And I've known Max
since last morning." my mom answered.
Max came behind me and tapped my shoulder and said," Rachel, I don't like you."
I turned around shocked, and I felt hurt in my heart, until he knelt to the ground and pulled
out the same ring box Terry had in the forest. He opened it, but it wasn't the same ring
Terry had. The new ring was more beautiful than the other.
Then he finally said,"I love you. I liked you ever since I saw you in that white room. I could
tell you were a good person by your eyes. Your beautiful eyes. I've always wanted to be
by your side, and I still do. Will you marry me?"
My mom was shocked, and Max and I were blushing like crazy. But I was over joyed.
I closed my eyes, smiled, and tears started to come out.
"Are you ok? Did I do something wrong? Please stop crying." Max said worried and nervous, and he stood up and wiped my tears away. I opened my eyes and the tears stopped coming out.
"Max I love you too, and I will marry you." I said smiling.
Max had a smile and he came closer to my face. And closer. And closer. He closed his eyes.
And he kissed me on the lips.(My first kiss. OMG! heart ) After it ended, he hugged me and I hugged
him back. After we looked at each other, I felt a sharp pain in my back. And I felt something
cold.
"Ow, my back." I said and fell to the ground. Max was still shocked. He knelt to the
ground, holding me. My eye sight started to get blurry.
"Rachel, stay awake!" I heard Max say.
I heard my mom say," What the hell did you do, Terry?!"
Then Terry said,"If I can't have her, than NO ONE CAN! So I stabbed her."
"I'm going to kill you, you a*****e!" Max screamed.
My eyes couldn't stay open.
"Rachel, I love you." Max said.
"I love you too, Max" I said.
The last thing I can make out was Max's yellow eyes.
His crying eyes. crying
