Her final goodbyes,
Her lost unspoken words,
How many lies can she make,
How many promises can he break.

Her touch that faded,
His light that seemed to flutter,
No matter how many words,
No matter how much pain,

I'm forgetting their love,
Even if she is me,
And what was left of him,
When she saw him on his knees.

She wants to die,
