Back from Otakon
Just had a terrific weekend at Baltimore. Otakon always carry this energy that's focused on the fandom of being an anime fan. Somehow, having less big name companies and booths present does help bring the focus back on the fans than the materials being consumed. That is why I like to make the visit every year, and certainly, from a Gaia point of view, I wish that we can continue to harness an atmosphere that's focused on Gaians and their communities, or Gaians being their creative selves serving each other in our virtual world.
This is hopefully one of the last convention where we show off news and screencaps of zOMG. Being able to fulfill this 3 year long promise is going to be very rewarding. Though as a team who is delivering a game for the first time, I know that there will be many risks of us screwing up the gameplay, but I hope that through user feedback we can polish the game up after the game's release.
As we come close to finishing up the game, most of our time and resources had been pulled to make the release happen as fast as possible. During that time, some of the fixes and new features are being slowed down. Please be patient and we'll get back on-track ASAP!
