I have finally gotten around to reading the infamous Seven Percent Solution and all I can say is O.o
I actually rather enjoyed it, despite it's self consciousness. (All the explaining of historical detail, I felt unnecessary and was just there to show off the author's research.) It's not as good as The Alienist, but it was readable.
