Sales were so-so this year, I really felt like I could have sold more but I guess the economy has taken its toll on cons as well. I sat next to Zambi and I hung out with her, Pi-e , Tkay, 0_8 (Alex Ahad) and my dear Huy and our friend Joe.
I had a good time but I also had a little set back because I managed to get mild food poisoning on Saturday. We went to a little Indian place on Thursday night when we got there and I got a shrimp wrap. The shrimp tasted really fishy and not so great but I really didnt notice until eating several, then I had like one more to make sure X3. Then I let Huy try one and he agreed with me that they were past their prime. I really didnt think anything of it until mid-Saturday when I got a huge headache and my stomach started hurting really bad. Artist alley closed at 8pm but I had to pack up and leave at 5pm because I felt so awful. That and I was planning on going back to that same Indian place later that night to meet up with Alex and go see the new Terminator movie, so I needed to get some sort of rest if that was going to happen. I got up and my headache felt better but my stomach was still uneasy. So when we got to the Indian Place, I decided just to have Naan and some rice to help ease my stomach. But after dinner it just got worse. T3T I liked the movie, but I only saw parts of it because I had to leave and go to the bathroom every 5 minutes. Then I went to bed early and of course the vomiting started at 3am. T3T Either way, the next day, I didnt really eat at all and I eventually felt better around dinner time. Luckily it was just mild food poisoning because I would still probably be sick if it was full blown.
It still sucks though because I really just didn't feel like being at the con and I had leave quite a bit. SO, if you came by and I didnt seem really happy, or nice, or approachable, that's why. I promise I am all of those things, when i am not sick to my stomach. X3
Anyway, I'll write some more about the con later. I need to rest and catch up on what rest I missed out on at the con.
