I know what I want more than anything else in this world. More than money, more than fame, more than power even. I want life, life that never ends. I don't want to die. I don't want to fade off into history, I will not be content with being a forgotten statistic in a population report, nor will I be content with being a name in a textbook. No, I refuse these options, I reject them with all my body, mind, and soul. I will live on! I swear, no matter the sins it costs me, or the humanity within me that it destroys, I will do whatever I must to achieve that which to me is the greatest of accomplishments in the world. I will achieve eternal life, the ability to go on forever as the rest of humanity sits and crumbles away, as their bones fade into dust, as their beliefs are crushed when they realize that there is no other life. This is the only life we get, and I refuse to let mine end!
