I walked up the swirling stairs, that seemed to go on forever and ever. I looked up, and at the top I could see a glowing red light...Wonder what that is?
I looked to my side, and saw Jakeo. He was persistent, and smiling. "Hngh." He said, and turned his head to me. "when we get up there, the elders will tell you the secret that you've been hidden from until now."
I respond, "Why me? Just because i'm this stupid....Half-blood* thing, doesn't mean it's a big deal!"
Jakeo's smile dissapears as he says, "Well...Actually, you are a big deal. There's only been 1 other half-blood, and he was a big deal...Before he was brutally murdered..."
"What?! Murdered?!" I feel sick all of a sudden.
"Yeah. They'll explain it all. Look! We're almost to the top! I'll race ya'!!" Jakeo started running before I could object, so I followed.

And then, at the top, were 3 hooded figures.
Hood 1:"Ah! you're finnaly here! Sorry for such a long way up." I say, "Yeah. Now just tell me this 'secret'!!"
Hood 2: "I'll explain. 2 thousand years ago, this war started. A war between Vampires and Werewolves. There was fighting, bloodshed, and killling...Until Vampires got on top and enslaved Werewolves. Many had escaped, and many were found... a thousand years later, a teenage werewolf girl escaped, with her Vampire Master's son. They were escaping because...the werewolf girl was pregnant with their child. The two were hunted down, until they found refuge in a human village. the child, the first Half-Blood, was born as a human.His name was Akhsaluk (Ack-ha-sul-luck). But, the mother died in the birthing process. His father raised him as a human child, but when he was old enough, which was before his transformation to a Half-Blood, The father told him what he was. Akhsaluk understood. When Akhsaluk was 18, his transformation begun....
The whole Vampire kingdom found out, and the vampire emperor hunted down Akhsaluk, and jailed him for 20 years. After those 20 years, Akhsaluk escaped and seeked revenge.
It took a year searching for the emperor... And then they fought.
Akhsaluk almost won...Until the emperor played dirty and....crushed Akhsaluk like a bug."
Hood 3:"Proficy says that he will return. Because a thousand years after his death, he would be reincarnated into his own species, who will be the next one of his species. He died in 996 a.d."
I say, "But...I was born in 1996!! d-do y-y-you mean that I'm the reincarnation?!"
All hoods together:"Yes. You are."
I could feel my head swirling...And then I passes out.

I woke up to jakeo screaming my name. "Hart? Hart!! Please wake up!!!"
I said, "Please tell me that whole 'reincarnation' thing was just a bad dream...." he said, "I'm afraid not. You are."
I stood up immeadeantly.
"But, this Akhsaluk guy changed when he was 18!! I'm only 13!!"
Hood 2:"That's why we find it so puzzling. Also, because we always thought that the reincarnation would be male...But you're female..."
Hood 1:"We're sorry for the sudden news, but you needed to know."
Hood 3:"Yes. It'll drive you mad if you didn't know."
I said, "Well, It's fine. I know what I am, And there's nothing I can do about it."
I'm pretty sure that wasn't me speaking, but the stupid past-life of mine.
I was thinking about all of this, and then it hit me. I must be the reincarnation, because Akhsaluk is my first name spelled backwards.
