~THE NEXT DAY, AT DAWN~
Keela stood at the edge of the cliff. Looking down into the never ending darkness, she allowed a single tear to fall. Jandi Ha stood behind her, giving her a last moment with her child. The demon sun rose, and the world was flooded with an orange light. For a few moments everything was a shade of orange. Slowly, the colors came back, and Jandi Ha spoke up. "It is time," She said. Keela nodded, and dropped the bundle of blankets and sleeping baby into the darkness. Falling to her knees, she stayed there. Jandi Ha, satisfied that all had gone smoothly, but sad for her old friend, turned away and left.
Keela sat there until noon. Her husband came up to her and laid his hand on her shoulder. "Djangoe," Keela said hoarsely. Her husband, Djangoe, sat down beside her pulling her into his arms. "What will we do now?" She asked him. "The only thing we can do," He said.
At night, when they were inside of their home, Keela retrieved a bundle from her closet. Inside was a baby. It was Asheill Rhando Evanlwynn. Keela smiled and summoned Djangoe over. "Is it ready?" She asked him. "Yes," He said, taking his daughter into his arms. Keela tried not to cry. "We must hurry," Djangoe told her, and she nodded.
On the main room's floor, there were a bunch of markings and symbols that seemingly made no sense. Djangoe laid the child down in the middle, and lit a match. Backing up, he threw the match on top of the child, and she was engulfed in green flames. when the fire calmed, all that was left were the blankets that had been wrapped around her. Keela threw herself into Djangoe's arms and cried. "It's alright, we'll meet her again. She'll be the greatest Evanstirr. She will save us, don't worry."
