I've started watching Bones. Full disclosure, I'm getting a mix of random episodes via syndication, moxed with newer ones, so to me character appear and disappear at random and I may be missing longer character arcs. It does seem to do a good job of characterization, even if it is rather a Geek bestiary. They do a decent job of portraying an hfa character, and I really like Hodgins and Angela in particular. I have heard forensic folk complaining on panels about the show allowing forensics folk to do interrogation etc., but I haven't heard much in the way of forensics complaints, which does speak well for the show. (The claim is that forensics people need a completely different personality type than the people doing things like interrogation and arrests, and there's a very good reason they have completely separate tasks in the real world).
