I don't understand my roommates.
I had two last semester, one after the other, and one this semester.

My first roommate was a Mama's boy with a violent girlfriend. He actually dropped one of his classes because it was too early in the morning for it to be worth his effort to get up and attend. And, because my college requires you to have a minimum of 12 class hours to be considered a "Full-Time Student", it cost his mother another $1000 or so, just to keep him in the dorm. Sure enough, he failed out. We were far from friends by the end of the semester, since I had his pushy girlfriend thrown out of our dorm forever for hitting me in the face like a child.

Roommate number two was nice enough, but was the victim of identity theft and promptly lost his tuition money at the beginning of the semester. He was prone to spurts of anger and swearing, especially with people from his hometown, who for some reason called him on the phone often. He was also a Wicca, I think, or something of the sort, and kept a spellbook hidden somewhere in our room (I didn't bother to search for it, no interest). He was a piercing and spikes sort of guy, and he must've weighed 350 pounds, big guy...

My third roommate is a real case too. He stays out alllll night, then sleeps all day. His alarm goes off every half an hour or so, and he just hits it and goes back to sleep. He'll sleep from 7am to about 3pm, goes to class, and doesn't come back to the room until the wee hours of the morning. This wouldn't normally bother me, but he's getting into the habit of not locking our door. I've had to argue with him about it, he's convinced that someone else has a key to the door and is... unlocking it for fun, or something. I'm mildly OCD about doors, clocks, and shelves, so its not me. He just doesn't want to admitt it. I've had to have our RA talk with him when I'm away, since he won't listen to me. XP He spends more time at his girlfriend's dorm than here, yet he leaves all his gross gym clothes all over the place. I'mma neat freak, so this makes me crazy. scream

Guess I'm just outta luck when it comes to roommates. Maybe I'll save all my summer job money this summer to get a dorm room all to myself. That'd be nice... whee heart
