Andrew, Yuki and I had split up to search all over the property. We voted on who would check where. Andrew was checking the grounds near the forest, Yuki was checking inside the house, and I was looking all around the perimeter of the house.

Andrew was wondering around in the forest, looking for any signs of movement. He had sensed false movements, such as the flutter of wings, which gave him a disadvantage. Yuki, on the other hand, was slacking off in the kitchen.
I had found multiple random items ranging from buttons to feathers. But the most intricate object that I found was a small, petite ice dragon no bigger than the nail on a thumb. I gently placed it at the top of a small weed woven sack that I had made during my free time.
After exactly three hours, we all went back to the house and discussed any clues that we might’ve found. We dumped the contents of what we had picked up onto the dinner table. For a few minutes, we observed each other’s findings and placed objects that gave us an impression of a clue in the middle of the table. “What is this?” Andrew asked while pointing to a brown ball in Yuki’s pile.
“What? Can’t blame a bear for searching for more clues, now can you?”
Yuki said childishly. Then he added “It’s a marble! It’s an illusion!” while moving his paws in a circular motion directly in front of Andrew. Andrew, due to his temper, knocked the bear off the table and into the wall. Looks more like chocolate to me, Andrew thought. His focus returned to the piles, then his sight fell upon the ice dragon.
“Yukari, did you find this?”
I nodded.
“Where’d you find it exactly?”
“Right underneath the window in Adam’s room outside.” But Andrew wasn’t listening. His eyes felt like dark, endless holes as they were fixed upon the dragon.
